The IEEPA tariffs were struck down, but the money doesn't come back on its own. Here's what most importers don't realize.
Tariff refunds aren't automatic for every importer. If you don't act, you may not get back what you paid. We'll show you an easy, cost-effective way to recover it.
Refund deadlines are already running, and some importers are closer to the cutoff than they realize. Find out where your entries stand.
Your customs broker can file your refund paperwork with Customs, but can't take your case to court. For older imports, a court filing may be the only way to get your money back, and that takes a trade attorney.
Already filed through your broker or pulled your ES-003 report?
You may still be owed more. One importer's broker filed for $2M – we found over $1M more.

Ron James
CEO, OPSCALE EXCHANGE
Ron James is the founder and CEO of Opscale Exchange. With more than 15 years of executive experience, he has led operational transformations across complex, high-growth environments – always with an eye toward turning big ambitions into a program that actually runs.
As SVP of Operations at Innovation Refunds, Ron helped scale a specialty tax platform past $1 billion in revenue, building a national customer success organization and integrating AI and automation into how the business operated. Before that, he spent more than a decade at H&R Block, where he oversaw 300+ tax offices across seven states, a $90 million P&L, and a team of 3,000+ employees, and helped build and launch the Block Advisors service line. Earlier in his career, he held operations and P&L leadership roles at Walmart and Best Buy.
Ron's mission is simple: help founder-led businesses scale with confidence by bridging the gap between vision and operational execution. He leads hands-on, working alongside clients rather than advising from the sidelines.
Special Guest
Robert Shapiro, Thompson Coburn
CHAIR, INTERNATIONAL TRADE PRACTICE
Robert Shapiro knows international trade. He counsels clients on all aspects of international import and export transactions, with a focus on the complex and constantly changing issues surrounding compliance and geopolitics.
His clients depend on his experience and geopolitical perspective to navigate the often confusing, diverse, and ever-changing policies, laws, and regulations governing international activity. He regularly represents clients before the full range of trade-regulating agencies at the Departments of State, Homeland Security, Treasury, and Commerce, and before independent agencies and committees.
His experience spans the valuation, classification, and origin of imported merchandise; the avoidance or recovery of duties; and compliance with export controls, sanctions, and other national security laws. He is skilled at tracing a product's origins – and the origins of its components – to identify risks like forced labor at any stage of production.
Before practicing law, Robert served as vice president of a major logistics firm, and understands that international trade is, at its core, about the movement of goods and the continuity of business.
